Granjeno is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. The population was 313 at the 2000 census. A July 1, 2008 U.S. Census Bureau estimate placed the population at 304. The city sits on the banks of the Rio Grande, near the border with Mexico. Granjeno is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission and Reynosa–McAllen metropolitan areas.
