In Greek mythology, Eurystheus (; Greek: Εὐρυσθεύς, lit. "broad strength", IPA: [eu̯rystʰěu̯s]) was king of Tiryns, one of three Mycenaean strongholds in the Argolid, although other authors including Homer and Euripides cast him as ruler of Argos.
