This particular set is believed to be the oldest and largest subset of the Avalon Gangster Crips gang located in a housing project named Avalon Gardens located on 88th Place, between Avalon Blvd. and Central Avenue. The 88 Avalon Garden Crips identify themselves under the Gangster Crips/East Side Crips card and are friendly towards most Tray gangs such as the the 53 Avalon Gangster Crips, Rollin 40s Avalon Gangster Crips, 116 Avalon Gangster Crips, 112 Broadway Gangster Crips, 87 Kitchen Crips, 51 Trouble Gangster Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips.
