Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan do not have a gnomic inflection in its verbs like Swahili, but it does have lexical aspect in its be verbs ser and estar. For instance, estar enfermo or estar malalt mean to be sick, whereas ser enfermo or ésser malalt mean to be sickly.
