At the 40th Annual Grammy Awards, the song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. The single spent eleven weeks atop the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one in 15 other countries. With worldwide sales likely over eight million, including shipments of three million copies in the United States and over one million in both Germany and the United Kingdom, the song has become one of the best-selling singles of all time.
