Ammi spp. is prohibited by the Australian New Zealand Food Standards code under standard 1.4.4 due to active constituents: ⁕furocromine ⁕coumarin derivatives ⁕.03% volatile oil ⁕fixed oil & protein ⁕flavonol glycosides
